Worship as a...

At Belmont, we believe that worship is way more than three songs on a Sunday. As followers of God, we are called to live out our worship as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). To do this we are called to live a life that is holy and pleasing to God. If we truly are disciples of Christ, we take our worship into our mission fields wherever we go. Even though things may not be easy to do, we continue to be a light for others in the community as we are strive to help further the Kingdom of God.

sunday mornings...

Our worship on Sunday mornings, consists of a time where we worship together in song and prayer, which is followed by a time of hearing the gospel preached. We also take time each week to celebrate and remember Jesus’ redeeming sacrifice through communion.  At Belmont we choose to worship in our giving. We give a monetary offering, where we see this as a time to give back to God first and then to the community,  to grow the church and its ministries, and to help grow God’s Kingdom through the many gifts that we have been given.

worship in song...

Our worship through music, is a unique time where we gather to sing praises to our Savior. In scripture there are many times where we are commanded to sing to the Lord (Psalms 96:1 - “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth”). We are to use our voices and gifts to bring glory to His name. In our time of worship we also believe in the discipleship and the teaching that takes place through song. In short, we use our music at Belmont to teach others the message of the gospel and what we truly believe about God.

Colossians 3:16 - "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."
